AGP Prime Appoints David Miller as Senior Managing Director

AGP Prime, the prime brokerage division of A.G.P. / Alliance Global Partners, has appointed David Miller as Senior Managing Director. He will report to Seth Michaels, Global Head of AGP Prime, and be based in New York.

David brings over 30 years of experience in prime brokerage, clearing, equity finance, margin, and operations. He most recently led Maxim Group’s Prime Brokerage Services division and has previously held senior roles at Wells Fargo, Merlin Securities, and Goldman Sachs. He holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University at Albany.

Tom Costello Joined AGP Prime as Director of Business Operations

Earlier this year, the prime broker added Tom Costello as Director of Business Operations and Trading, be based in Florida. Tom will assist with all aspects of AGP Prime’s high-touch trading and client services, working closely alongside Managing Directors E.J. Pures and Dmitriy Kovalev as well as Associate Jared Zelin.

Prior to joining AGP Prime, Tom was a Vice President within Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Equities Division. As a Corporate Sales Trader, he managed and executed special equity transactions on behalf of the firm’s corporate and institutional clients.

Tom is AGP Prime’s fourth addition in the last 12 months, aligning with our strategy of growth to better serve clients, while remaining profitable. He is preceded by E.J., Tom Landsbergen in sales and Emma Palatnik in marketing.
