Avelacom has added direct connectivity to AWS São Paulo, expanding its global cloud access footprint to Latin America. The move enhances infrastructure for crypto trading firms interacting with Brazil’s B3 Exchange, where crypto derivatives are gaining traction among institutional participants.
By integrating AWS Direct Connect at Equinix SP4, Avelacom offers trading firms faster access to both testing and live environments at B3. The new link also reduces round-trip latency between São Paulo and Tokyo by over 25 milliseconds compared to conventional networks, reinforcing Avelacom’s focus on latency-sensitive trading infrastructure.

Aleksey Larichev, CEO of Avelacom, commented, “São Paulo is becoming an important location on the global crypto trading map. By adding AWS Direct Connect here, we’re helping bridge the gap between traditional exchanges like B3 and the crypto-native world — both of which depend on low-latency connectivity and maximum uptime. This expansion further strengthens our AWS inter-regional portfolio, offering clients a truly institutional-grade solution for multi-cloud, global trading. It also highlights our ultra-low-latency São Paulo <> Tokyo route, which cuts round-trip time by more than 25 milliseconds compared to standard network options that are not optimized for latency.”
Avelacom now supports AWS-hosted venues across all major regions including Asia Pacific, Europe, the U.S., and Latin America. The company said that direct routes between São Paulo and cities such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Dublin, London, and Frankfurt accommodate crypto exchanges that base matching engines in those regions.
The deployment is designed for proprietary trading firms and fintech platforms executing latency-sensitive strategies. Avelacom’s clients benefit from direct access to AWS São Paulo, robust uptime of 99.9%, and the option to test all route paths through a one-week trial.
